Diabolus – Feast
Release Date: 19th December 2016
Diabolus are a UK based death metal band from Andover in Hampshire, formed in 2014. They released their first EP titled ‘Wasted Air‘ back in 2015 when they were doing small, local shows and now they’re back with ‘Feast‘, growing in their genre and better than ever.
Kicking off this EP is the first track ‘Chapter I – A Tortured Beginning‘ featuring pure, heavy riffage and devilish vocals from Luke Robbins.
‘Chapter II – Servant Of The Devil‘ is a killer track which really shows off the influences that Diablous have, such as Cradle Of Filth and Acranius, with their own unique spin.
‘Chapter III – Demonic Submission‘ is more of a musical interlude which leads you to feel like you’re going into a Demonic Submission which then leads into track 4 titled ‘Chapter IV – Wrath Of Apollyon‘. This one is a seriously meaty track, making any fan want to headbang to the riffs and heavy hypnotic drums.
Last but certainly not least is ‘Chapter V – The Cannibal Of Siberia‘; an epic EP closer with certainly leaves you wanting more from Diabolus. These guys have certainly finished 2016 on a high note and I, for one, can’t wait to see what’s coming next.
For Fans Of: Lorna Shore, Cradle Of Filth, Acranius.
