In Hearts Wake have released a video game entitled ‘Skyhoppers‘ in the lead up to the release to their new album ‘Skydancer‘ via UNFD on May 1st.

Last year, the band released the game ‘Earth Invaders‘ to accompany their album ‘Earthwalker‘ and following in the theme of the ‘Skydancer‘, have set ‘Skyhoppers‘ in, you guessed it, the sky.

So here’s how it works: You choose your player from In Hearts Wake (Jake, Ben, Eaven and Kyle) and see their face take shape as an eagle as you fly through cloud barriers much like the game Flappy Birds. You can hear the lead single ‘Breakaway‘ as you play, but once you make it through 30 barriers you unlock the album track ‘Insomnia’ and hear it before the album is released.

As a bonus, the person to get the highest score by May 1st will win a rare vinyl test pressing of ‘Skydancer‘.

For those of you that don’t already know ‘Skydancer‘ is the second half of an ambitious project that has been planned in secret well before the release of award-winning breakthrough album ‘Earthwalker‘. Both albums were recorded in the same session in late 2013 and share a multitude of themes across their artwork, lyrics and charitable intentions.
