Ocala, Florida’s Wage War has unleashed a brand new song called ‘Stitch’, paired with a heavy-hitting, in-your-face music video. The single is taken from the band’s forthcoming sophomore album, set for release this year. ‘Stitch’ is available on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon and to stream on Spotify. You can check out the video below.
“We are so excited to finally be able to release ‘Stitch’. This one has been a long time coming for us,” says guitarist and vocalist Cody Quistad. “‘Stitch’ was among one of the first songs written on the heels of the release of our debut album, Blueprints, and from the moment it came together, we’ve been dying to get it out. It’s unapologetically heavy from start to finish, and the lyrics follow suit with an almost tormented twist on love lost. We really wanted to push ourselves on the new material, and I think this is a new take on the aggressive side of our band.”
This week, Wage War wrapped up their recent tour with I Prevail, Islander and Assuming We Survive on March 16 before joining A Day To Remember in their hometown of Ocala. Wage War will hit the road again on April 28 with Every Time I Die and ’68 for a 16-date trek with festival performances slated throughout, including Carolina Rebellion, Northern Invasion and Rock On The Range.
Wage War– Composed of Briton Bond (Vocals), Cody Quistad (Guitar, Vocals), Seth Blake (Guitar), Chris Gaylord (Bass), Stephen Kluesener (Drums) – When Wage War formed in Ocala, Florida, in 2013 they started playing all over Central Florida, and soon after signed to Fearless Records. From there the group linked up with the production team of Andrew Wade (Neck Deep, The Ghost Inside) and A Day To Remember vocalist Jeremy McKinnon who produced their 2015 debut ‘Blueprints‘.
In a defining new era for the band, WAGE WAR is certain to incite frenzied mosh pits for years to come, as the band displays an aggression that they’ve have only hinted at in the past. Wage War was named in Alternative Press’ Most Anticipated Music of 2017 and have toured with the likes of August Burns Red, Every Time I Die and I Prevail, among many others, in addition to being a standout act on the Vans Warped Tour 2016.
