Mammothfest: A Brighton Christmas Metal Party – 16th December

Following the success of this year’s Mammothfest in October it has since been nominated for three festival awards, including the UK Festival Awards in two categories, Best Metropolitan and Best Small Festival 2016 as well as the TBFM Best Independent Festival 2016. The winners are yet to be announced so watch this space! Now Mammothfest is inviting fans to their special Christmas party which will be a hell of a show! The event itself will be held at The Haunt, Brighton on the 16th December, and it will be hosted by a member of one of the headlining bands this year, being none other than the Demolition man, also known as Tony Dolan, of Venom Inc. The line-up for this major event includes Meta-Stasis, Anti-Clone, Hell Puppets, King Leviathan and Vehement. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story – 15th December

Last year, we had the massive hype of the long awaited Episode VII: The Force Awakens. Now while we wait for Episode VIII, the studio behind the franchise is about to release its first side story to keep us busy, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. This will be set between the events of Episodes III and IV, in which the main plot is about the rebellion gaining the plans that will eventually destroy the original Death Star. Old characters return, such as Mon Mothma and Darth Vader, we see the giant AT-AT walkers in looking more monstrous than before and we see some iconic actors such as Forrest Whitaker and Donnie Yen feature in this action packed story. Trivium are re-releasing their debut album ‘Ember To Inferno‘ this month.
