In unfortunate news, Slipknot bassist Alex ‘Vman’ Venturella was rushed to hospital during the band’s set at The Xfinity Theater in Conneticut last night. The details of Alex‘s medical emergency are yet to be identifed.

There was a 20 minute interval during the show whilst Alex was being seen to and when the band returned (without Alex), Corey Taylor addressed the crowd in order to keep things under control. “I’m gonna let you know what’s going on right now. I’m sorry to say that our bass player, Alex, had… Something happened. I’m not sure what happened. He’s been put into an ambulance and he’s going to the hospital right now as we speak. But I want you all to make f—ing noise for him. Send him some f—ing love…”.

All we can say is best wishes to Alex and the rest of the band, regardless of what is going on. Stay tuned for more information as it comes.
