There have been more great videos unveiled for us all in March. Bodycount and Faintest Idea with their strong political values have been a real treat for us. But it is surely the surprise of new material from Northlane out of nowhere that has grabbed out attention. Below are our top 5 videos for March 2017…

1) Wage War – stitch

Ocala, Florida’s Wage War has unleashed a brand new song called ‘Stitch’, paired with a heavy-hitting, in-your-face music video. The single is taken from the band’s forthcoming sophomore album, set for release this year.

2) Faintest Idea – Ouroboros

The final installation in a three-part video package from the Ska outfit’s 2016 album, ‘Increasing The Minimum Rage’. Faintest Idea is never a band to shy from their beliefs, this video pokes fun at the idea of foxes hunting us back for a change.

3) Northlane – Citizen

The much-hyped, Aussie metalcore act has surprise-released a new album titled ‘Mesmer’, According to guitarist Josh Smith, it’s not just for the shock value, but for the fans. “We kind of felt like we owed it to our fans who have been supporting us,” he says, “to give them the record the moment they knew about it rather than make them wait. We just wanted them to be able to hear it straight away.”

4) Bodycount – Black Hoodie

5) Mastodon – Show Yourself

Mastodon have a tendency for amusing videos and this one is now exception as we look into the day and life of a grim reaper who is bad at his job, with plenty of elderly people giving him the finger as they refuse to die. Not only is the video amusing but it amazingly is matched by an upbeat catchy anthem that isn’t entirely what we expect of the band.
