Lots of sweet new videos were released in November 2016 – many of them actually being from Metallica! But we could only choose five…

1) Metallica – Murder One

As you probably all know, Metallica recently released music videos for every single track on their latest album ‘Hardwired…To Self Destruct‘. It was an epic move from Hetfield and the gang, that took the internet by storm. Although it was tough choosing just one of these videos, we eventually decided to go with the animated Lemmy tribute, directed by Robert Valley. Check out our review of ‘Hardwired…To Self Destruct‘ here.

2) Killswitch Engage – Cut Me Loose

Filmed on the salt flats of Utah and directed by Jeremy Danger and Travis Shinn, the video is a new imagining of the  song from the band’s latest album Incarnate‘, which was released in March 2016 via Roadrunner Records. You can check out our review of ‘Incarnate‘ here.

3) Hypophora – Youth

South West math-post-hardcore crew Hypophora set loose their highly engaging double A sided single ‘Youth’ / ‘Caught’, through Easy Action records on 11th November. The video for ‘Youth‘ gives you a little taster of what the band would be like live (although we imagine the energy is multiplied by 1000 on stage, considering the fantastic reputation these guys have gained for their live shows)! Check out an interview we did with the band.

4) While She Sleeps – Hurricane

While She Sleeps have just released the video for ‘Hurricane‘ taken from their newly announced album ‘You Are We‘, which is set for release in April 2017. As part of the new record’s PledgeMusic campaign, fans were able to head to the studio and take part in the video for ‘Hurricane’Taylor also reminisces on making the video, saying:
That was absolutely crazy, I’m still aching from that! But the special thing is that every kid who came down for the video shoot actually helped make the album happen. And to that extent, they made this warehouse capable of living.”

5) Faultlines – Voices

Melodic metalcore band Faultlines have just released their second music video for track ‘Voices‘, after teasing it via Social Media a few weeks before. The song is the latest track to be taken from the band’s debut EP ‘All We’ve Ever Known’, which was released earlier this year. Check out our review of the EP here.
