Last year Wotsit Called Fest made a step up from it’s initial year in 2016 by booking bigger bands and adding any extra day. Now it looks like Toxic Wotsit Promotions are up to it again by making their first announcement for 2018.We went into the planning meeting thinking how can we top last years. So we’ve added another day, we’re adding more bands on each day and we’ve lined up two incredible headliners.”

The first headlining act announced is underground dub-punks, Inner Terrestrials. The iconic trio has been much beloved in the DIY circuit for the last two decades and is considered pioneers of the dub-punk sound, delivering a stomping mix of dub, punk, ska, folk with general anarchic attitude behind every song. A second headliner is yet to be announced, however, also included on this bill for a this year’s Wotsit Called Fest are TNSrecords duo, Manchester punks Revenge of the Psychotronic man and Norwich ska-punks Faintest Idea.

The festival will return to last year’s venue, The Palace in Hastings, in which the event will now be held across three days instead of two from September 28th until September 30th. The third day will consist of a hungover acoustic theme to recover from the frantic antics on the first two days. Each day will also feature more bands than previous years.

Tickets will start as £15 for an early bird price, however that number of tickets will be limited. Full price tickets will go up to £20.

2017’s festival sold out weeks before the actual event, so it is expected that this year’s will do the same, so get your tickets while you can.
